Work for a brave new world

WHY THIS STRANGE NAME?

Zero:Zero stands for the score at the beginning of a new game.
The game here being brand communication and design. In which the rules are fast changing.
Even as you read this.

– used to be that one slide you added at the end of your 173 slide presentation. Now digital is the life your audience leads.

– used to be what got the masses’ eyeballs. Now it’s what the masses swipe with their fingers 24x7.

– used to mean the piece of parent company pie you got. Now it means people spreading your work.

WHO ARE THE GUYS BEHIND ZERO:ZERO?

Three of us make the core of this agency, each with 20+ years.

Kumar Subramaniam

[Business]

Kumar likes immersion. Into brand philosophies, thick books and the occasional belt of Jim Beam. He has headed many big accounts, spearheaded offices across agencies (traditional and non), and often heads for the seas (to clear his head, he says).

WHAT KIND OF WORK IS OUR THING?

Work that can be summed up as riveting storytelling in these attention-deficit times.

Stories made of 140 characters or 30 seconds or anything in between or beyond.

Because we believe there’s no line between traditional and non-traditional work.

There’s only work that works.

Work that gets shared, discussed, even taken up and co-owned by the crowd.

On social media, at social watering holes or by the society at large.

  • 1) A tvc to promote an app.
  • 2) A web-film for an on-ground activity and seed it on social.
  • 3) Breakthrough digital campaign around traditional ATL.

WHAT'S OUR WORKING MODEL?

"Constant Center + Changing field".

We three make the constant center.

We've created a field around us, of professionals in tech, analytics, video, social.

We involve them as per projects. But end of day, the three of us are accountable.

The common thread between them is that you can't employ any of them, but you can hire their services. That's the spirit of the times.
